MarVista Entertainment & TelevisaUnivision Ink Spanish Film Contract for ViX+ – Deadline

Fox Entertainment’s MarVista Entertainment, a prolific producer and distributor of original films for traditional and streaming networks around the world, continues its expansion into Latin America, signing a major development and production deal with TelevisaUnivision.

As part of the pact, MarVista, founded by Fernando Szew and Michael Jacobs, will produce ten Spanish-language original films featuring Latin American creative and on-screen talent in the family, comedy, romance and vacation genres that will stream exclusively on ViX+, TelevisaUnivision. streaming platform, to be launched in the second half of the year. TelevisaUnivision will hold worldwide streaming distribution rights for all ten films under the agreement, and MarVista will oversee worldwide distribution outside of streaming and second windows for all platforms.

This is the first major production commitment to MarVista following the independent studio’s December acquisition by Fox Entertainment.
