JetSMART Argentina will fly to Rio de Janeiro

From December 6, JetSMART Argentina will inaugurate flights between Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro. Services will be operated with 186-seat single-class Airbus A320-200 aircraft.

The Brazilian city will be the low cost airline’s fourth international destination departing from Buenos Aires. It currently operates in Santiago de Chile, Lima begins September 21, and Asuncion begins mid-November.

International routes of JetSMART Argentina

  • Asuncion (ASU): from November 15

The introductory price of the route is 29,900 Argentine pesos per stage, although according to its commercial director, Dario Ratinoff, the whole trip would reach 49,900 pesos, due to the difference in taxes between Brazil and Argentina.

As noted, JetSMART will fly between Santiago de Chile and Rio de Janeiro from December 29. The company will offer five operations per week with Airbus A320s.
