Argentina aims to complete COVID vaccination for children aged 3 to 11 by the end of 2021


Argentina’s Health Minister Carla Vizzotti announced that Argentina’s National Administration of Drugs, Food and Medical Technology (ANMAT) has approved the use of the Chinese pharmaceutical company’s Sinopharm vaccine against COVID for children aged 3 to 11. Vizzotti further revealed that the campaign will begin before the end of this year.

An important milestone for COVID vaccination in Argentina

More than 5,119,953 have been cured of the disease. Still, the average number of COVID-19 cases recorded in the past seven days is 1,374. Currently, the total number of active cases in the country is 23,288.
